Embarking on a journey to visually articulate SABIC's initiative in sustainable petroleum production, this project delved into creating a comprehensive brand manual and logo design. Beginning with meticulous research into SABIC's origin, mission, and the Certified Circular Polyolefins Initiative, the project navigated through various stages, culminating in a cohesive visual identity tailored to resonate with global industry sectors. The project commenced with an in-depth exploration of SABIC's partnership with HHI in Malaysia to produce the first globally certified circular polymers. Through extensive research, the initiative's innovative process of recycling complex plastic materials, its technological advancements, and its overarching goals of environmental preservation and economic sustainability were thoroughly understood. Conceptualization began with logo sketches that evolved into a meticulously crafted logo, symbolizing hope, renewal, and a shared journey toward a greener future. As the logo took shape, iconography and branding elements were strategically integrated, reflecting the essence of the initiative and its global impact. The project’s culmination saw the development of a comprehensive brand manual, meticulously detailing the application of the logo and visual elements across various communication channels.
